Moisture and road salt can corrode brakes that see little use. The basic service covers cleaning and servicing the moving parts, provided the components can be removed normally.

Frequently asked questions
Does a low-mileage electric vehicle need brake maintenance?+
Maintenance depends on more than mileage. Brake use, storage, moisture, road salt and manufacturer guidance all matter. An inspection establishes component condition; there is no single interval for every electric vehicle.
Does cleaning always resolve brake vibration?+
Not necessarily. The cause is investigated before selecting the work. Cleaning does not fix every brake, wheel or suspension fault, so any repair and its price are agreed based on the findings.
Is a brake fluid change included in brake service?+
No. Cleaning and moving-part maintenance, machine disc cleaning and brake fluid replacement are separate tasks. We confirm the required work and price before starting.
Can I drive to the workshop if the brakes behave abnormally?+
If braking performance clearly deteriorates or the vehicle tells you to stop, stop somewhere safe and follow the owner’s manual. Do not keep driving while waiting for a routine service appointment. Contact roadside assistance or a workshop to assess transport and next steps.
What does brake cleaning and servicing involve?+
We clean and service moving brake parts, such as slide pins, according to the car’s design. We also check the condition of the brakes. Repairs to seized parts and replacement of worn discs or pads are agreed separately.
