This notice explains how Virtahuolto processes personal data collected through the website and service requests.

2. What data do we process?
In connection with the service request, we process the customer's name, phone number or e-mail address, car registration number, possible additional information about the vehicle, description of the need for service, desired date and photos sent voluntarily by the customer. In addition, we store the technical data necessary to process the request to prevent abuse.
3. Why is the data processed?
The information is used for receiving service requests, finding out the need for work, making contact, agreeing on price and time, customer service and ensuring the data security of the service. The information is not used for direct marketing without separate consent.
4. Legal basis for processing
The processing is based on pre-agreement actions performed at the customer's request, fulfillment of a possible agreement, and the controller's legitimate interest in securing the service and investigating abuses.
5. Storage period
Information and images related to a mere service request are stored for a maximum of 12 months if no customer relationship or service contract is created. Information related to completed service, invoicing or statutory obligations can be stored longer in accordance with the applicable legislation.
6. Data recipients and location
The data is processed only by persons authorized by Virtahuolto based on their duties, as well as contractual partners necessary for the implementation of the service, such as online service storage and e-mail service providers. The partners process data on behalf of Virtatarvike Oy and in accordance with the agreements. Information is not sold.
7. Data protection
Service requests are stored in a secure work queue. Service is limited by logging in and a separate access rights list. The images are not public, but are opened through secure service. The service uses transmission restrictions and other technical protections.
8. Your Rights
Depending on the situation, you have the right to check your data, request the correction or deletion of incorrect data, limit processing, object to processing, and file a complaint with the data protection commissioner's office.
