R1234yf service for a working air conditioning system
We check operation, measure the refrigerant and test for leaks. We refill to the manufacturer’s specified quantity only if the system passes the test.

Frequently asked questions
What does service cost if 300 g of new refrigerant is added?+
In this example, 200 g is included in the €219 price and the extra 100 g costs €25. The total is €244 if no other work has been agreed. This calculation covers newly added refrigerant, not the vehicle’s entire system charge.
Does an electric vehicle’s air conditioning need refilling every year?+
There is no universal annual refill requirement for all vehicles. Follow your vehicle’s service schedule. Refrigerant loss that quickly recurs needs investigation; repeated refills do not replace leak detection.
Does the service include replacing the desiccant bag or compressor?+
No. The scope of the €219 service is listed on this page. A desiccant bag, compressor or other parts and their replacement are agreed separately. For Tesla, desiccant service needs depend on factors including model, model year and heat-pump equipment.
What information should I send about an air-conditioning fault?+
Send the registration number, model year and mileage. Describe cooling, heating and airflow, plus any warning. Mention previous refilling, leak detection or repairs and how long the improvement lasted.
How do I know whether the vehicle uses R1234yf refrigerant?+
We verify the refrigerant type from the registration number before confirming the appointment. R744 systems are not included in this service.
Is refrigerant charged according to the vehicle's full capacity?+
No. Additional refrigerant is charged only according to the amount of new refrigerant added during the service. Serviceable refrigerant recovered and refilled is not new additional refrigerant.
What happens if the system is not leak-tight?+
The service is stopped and the system is not refilled. €119 is charged for the diagnostic and service stages completed. We explain the finding, and leak detection and repair are priced and approved separately before work continues.
